The professional and business services and education and health services categories saw employment increases in September of 10,000 and 7,000 jobs, respectively, according to the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth. Nearly all of the increases in the former category was attributable to temporary jobs, while the rise in the latter field was boosted by a seasonal hike in private education.
